Job summary

Randstad Canada is hiring a Cyber Security Specialist in Regina to drive security initiatives in a fast-paced government environment. You will coordinate incident response, vulnerability tracking, and security posture reporting across cloud and on-premise systems.

The role involves maintaining up-to-date security artifacts and policy documents, and presenting security updates to IT leadership and stakeholders. A strong background in Azure, Defender, Sentinel, and Tenable One is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS/InfoSec or equivalent with 5+ years in IT security or cyber ops.
• Experience with cloud/enterprise security tech: Azure, Defender, Sentinel, Tenable One.
• Strong incident response, threat detection and security monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident investigations and post-incident lessons learned.
• Deliver vulnerability assessment and remediation tracking reports (Tenable One).
• Produce security posture metrics including Azure Secure Score dashboards.
• Maintain compliance documentation and security artifacts for nuclear-related projects.
• Update and maintain security policy documents, SOPs, network diagrams, and system security plans.
