Job summary

Charger logistics Inc. seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, operate, and continuously improve cybersecurity across endpoint, identity, network, cloud, and security operations.

The role is hands-on, focusing on building, configuring, investigating, tuning, and automating security technologies to strengthen the organization's security posture, rather than governance or policy management.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a related degree.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and KQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure security, endpoint, network, and cloud security.
• Experience in incident response, threat detection, threat hunting, and security investigations.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust in an enterprise environment.
• Strong scripting, automation, and security orchestration capabilities.
• Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and its application.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations & SIEM: design, configure, and optimize Microsoft Sentinel.
• Threat Detection & Hunting: develop and tune detections using Defender XDR and KQL.
• Identity & Cloud Security: implement controls across Entra ID, Azure, and cloud environments.
• Endpoint & Network Security: strengthen protections across endpoints and networks.
• Incident Response: investigate and respond to security incidents and contribute to post-incident improvements.
• Vulnerability Management: identify, prioritize, remediate, and report vulnerabilities.
• Security Automation: develop automation and integrations to improve detection and response.
• Zero Trust: contribute to implementing Zero Trust across identity, devices, apps, data, and infrastructure.
• Security Engineering: evaluate technologies and tune controls to address threats.
• Security Frameworks: apply NIST CSF and best practices to security capabilities.
