Job summary

CadMakers Inc. in Burnaby, BC is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard our digital infrastructure as we scale.

You’ll own network and application security, collaborate with IT and software teams, and help drive security across the platform. The role focuses on cloud and on‑prem security in Azure, vulnerability management, and zero trust, with a strong emphasis on SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in network security, focusing on application security.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as listed.
• Proficiency with Office 365 Admin Center and Azure cloud services; hands-on with Intune and Entra.
• Experience with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SOC2 and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with scripting and DevOps practices (Python, Bash, PowerShell, CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT sprint planning to integrate security tasks into workflows.
• Maintain posture with SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls.
• Collaborate with developers to provide secure solutions.
• Manage cloud hosting in Azure and on-premises security.
• Develop and implement Zero Trust and automate patches and deployments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and incident triage.
