Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive technical go-to-market activities, owning the technical relationship from discovery through adoption and expansion. You will partner with Account Executives to deliver bespoke architectures, PoCs, and ongoing onboarding, ensuring value realization for customers across Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills enabling dialogue with C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Account Executives and design bespoke architectures and PoCs.
• Oversee technical onboarding, health, risk, and expansion strategy for customers.
• Own discovery, demos, onboarding, and telemetry to ensure time-to-value.
• Lead quarterly business reviews translating platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
