Senior Customer Account Specialist –Competitive Salary – Montreal, QC

The Role

Are you an excellent verbal and written communicator with good customer service skills, looking to take on a new challenge? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are a recognized leader in global food supply chain integrity management, and we are looking to add a Senior Customer Account Specialist to our team. Day-to-day you will be the primary point of contact for customers with regards to receipt of Purchase Orders, and any related follow ups to ensure on-time deliveries in full. You will also be responsible for strategic accounts that require additional operational focus / attention.

Please note this is job is on-site in Montreal. No foreign (remote) applicants

Key Responsibilities :

The key responsibilities of a Senior Customer Account Specialist include, but are not limited to :

  • Act as a liaison between the Sales team, suppliers, and customers.

Administrative support :

  • Responsible for all order entry in SAP.
  • Responsible for sending SO’s and PO’s.
  • Responsible for New item master data creation submissions.
  • Responsible for issuing and sending Credit and Debit notes.
  • Keep internal records updated.

Operational support :

  • Oversee the entire process from the time a sale is made, until final delivery.
  • Monitor customer shipments via reports, and external platforms.
  • Monitoring customers’ performance (demand); liaising with supply chain and logistics teams in actively addressing supply chain issues.
  • Send customer schedules and regular updates.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, service providers, and suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries in full.
  • Troubleshoot all customer questions, concerns or complaints, and involve necessary parties.
  • Build and maintain business relationship with customers by providing prompt and accurate service so as to promote customer loyalty.
  • Manage customers with high levels demands.

Project management :

Program management :

  • Higher level decision making – overall daily account management
  • Providing monthly program updates to commercial lead (BDM).
  • Deductions and Claims maintenance.
