Job summary

Infrastructure Ontario is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Manager to lead independent assessment of complex lending and infrastructure financing transactions. You will provide expert credit risk analysis, adjudication, portfolio oversight, and strategic guidance to support sound lending decisions.

You will work with lending, legal, treasury, finance, loan operations, and senior leaders to strengthen credit risk practices and the growth of IO's lending portfolio.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Economics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Significant experience in commercial lending, credit risk management or project finance.
• Strong ability to analyze complex financial statements, cash flows and financing structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent assessments of complex lending, project finance and infrastructure financing transactions.
• Evaluate borrower performance, cash flow, risks, covenants and repayment capacity.
• Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums and risk recommendations for senior approvals.
• Present analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees.
• Manage Watch List and higher‑risk borrower relationships with proactive risk mitigation.
• Support policy enhancements, analytical tools and governance processes.
