Job summary

Mondzo Technological Services Inc. is seeking a temporary contractor to craft a fully custom, high-end web experience from scratch—no WordPress, no Webflow. This 100% remote role requires you to be located in Canada and to contribute to a Montreal studio’s ambitious project.

Compensation is CAD $90–$140 per hour, depending on scope and experience. You will build scroll-driven storytelling with 3D/WebGL effects, kinetic typography, and responsive layouts that stay smooth on all devices.

Qualifications

• Production-level GSAP (ScrollTrigger) experience on shipped sites.
• Strong vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) and advanced CSS without jQuery.
• Three.js or WebGL shaders experience.
• SplitType.js and fluid CSS clamp typography.
• Mobile GPU budgets with smooth touch and scroll.

Responsibilities

• Build scroll-driven storytelling and timeline-based animations.
• Create complex kinetic typography layouts with per-character/word breaks.
• Implement reactive 3D / WebGL effects with smooth performance.
• Develop fluid, responsive layouts that stay fast on all devices.

Temporary contractor role at Mondzo Technological Services Inc. for a fully custom, high-end web experience from scratch — no WordPress, no Webflow, no shortcuts.

This role is 100% remote. Applicants must be located in Canada. There is no office to report to; Mondzo is a Montreal studio hiring a remote contractor.

Compensation: CAD $90–$140 per hour, depending on scope and experience.

The core vision combines bold kinetic typography and immersive 3D / WebGL effects that hold 60fps from ultra-wide desktop to mobile.

You will build scroll-driven storytelling and timeline-based animations; complex kinetic typography layouts that break text into characters and words; reactive 3D / WebGL (subtle depth, glassmorphism, or cursor- and gyroscope-driven distortion); and fluid responsive layouts that do not thrash or stutter.

Required skills: production-level GSAP (ScrollTrigger and custom timelines) on shipped sites; modern vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) and advanced CSS without jQuery; Three.js or custom WebGL shaders; SplitType.js and fluid CSS clamp typography; mobile GPU budgets with smooth touch and scroll.
