Job summary

Mondzo Technological Services Inc. in Canada invites a freelance fullstack Shopify specialist to join our remote team. You will build storefronts, apps, and bilingual commerce experiences from anywhere in Canada.

Focus areas include Online Store 2.0 themes, Liquid, Hydrogen/Remix headless approaches, checkout and app extensions, plus Admin/Storefront API integrations with performance emphasis.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping Shopify storefronts and apps on live stores.
• Strong Liquid, JSON templates, and metafields knowledge.
• Hydrogen or Remix headless when appropriate, with app integration experience.
• Proficient in Node.js for apps and webhooks, focused on performance.
• Bilingual English/French communication required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship production Shopify work including Online Store 2.0 themes and Liquid.
• Implement Hydrogen/Remix headless setups when needed and manage checkout and app extensions.
• Perform Admin/Storefront API integrations and ensure performance targets.
• Collaborate in a remote, bilingual environment to deliver client-ready solutions.

Job description

Freelance fullstack role at Mondzo Technological Services Inc. for Shopify storefronts, apps, and bilingual commerce builds.

This role is 100% remote. Applicants must be located in Canada. There is no office to report to; Mondzo is a Montreal studio hiring a remote freelancer.

Compensation: CAD $80–$130 per hour, depending on scope and experience.

You will ship production Shopify work: Online Store 2.0 themes and Liquid, Hydrogen / Remix headless when the brief needs it, checkout and app extensions, and Admin / Storefront API integrations.

Required skills: strong Shopify theme and app experience on live stores; Liquid, JSON templates, and metafields; Hydrogen or custom headless when it is the right call; Node or similar for apps and webhooks; performance, Core Web Vitals, and bilingual EN/FR storefronts.
