Job summary

Questrade Financial Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Creative Designer to lead the visual strategy for our new social media team. You will craft high-quality video and static content, turning complex financial topics into engaging visuals and partnering with the Social Media Strategy Manager to build our content engine from 0-to-1.

You will design infographics, static posts, reels, and carousels while adhering to brand guidelines, and collaborate with performance teams for A/B testing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design and video production/editing, preferably within a corporate, agency, or FinTech environment.
• Multi-disciplinary designer capable of static graphics, infographics, and short-form video editing (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
• Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Ability to translate marketing objectives and complex financial data into clear, persuasive visual designs.
• Strong time management, organization, and ability to handle multiple projects in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the social media visual identity for Questrade and QuestMedia, ensuring a premium brand presence.
• Produce all graphical assets for channels, including infographics, static posts, and carousels.
• Film and edit 3-5 high-quality short-form videos per week for educational and infotainment content.

We're looking for our next Senior Creative Designer. Could It Be You?

We are looking for a Senior Graphic & Video Designer to be a creative cornerstone of our new social media team. This individual will be a hands-on, multi-disciplinary creator responsible for defining the visual strategy and executing the high-quality content (video and static) needed to launch our brand. This role partners directly with the Social Media Strategy Manager to build our content engine from 0-to-1, turning complex financial topics into highly engaging, shareable, and premium visual content.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing and owning the social media visual identity for both Questrade and QuestMedia, ensuring a consistent and premium brand presence.
• Producing all graphical assets for all channels, including infographics, static posts, and carousels.
• Filming and editing 3-5 high-quality short-form videos per week, turning educational and infotainment content (primarily from QuestMedia) into a highly shareable format (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
• Developing compelling marketing collateral, including infographics, newsletter visuals, and more, all while strictly adhering to Questrade's brand guidelines.
• Working closely with the Social Media Strategy Manager and performance teams to create multiple design variations for A/B testing and provide strategic design rationale based on performance data.

• Are a multi-disciplinary designer who can create high-quality static graphics, infographics, and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
• Have expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Have proven ability to translate marketing objectives and sometimes complex financial data into clear, persuasive, and visually engaging designs.
• Have excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities in an Agile environment.
• Have strong strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide visual-driven solutions to marketing challenges.

Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $80,000 - $90,000

The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
