NagataConnex is seeking an experienced Investments Counsel to provide legal support for private market transactions in Toronto. The role requires 5-10+ years of experience in M&A, fund investments, private equity, and private debt.

Qualifications

• 5 - 10+ years’ experience in M&A, fund investments, private equity, private debt or infrastructure.
• Experience in a leading law firm, asset manager, or as in-house counsel.
• Experience working with Canadian pension plans is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional and strategic legal support to investment divisions.
• Manage complex global private market investment files and projects.
• Engage directly with senior partners, external counsel, and stakeholders.
