Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Cost Advisor, Quantity Surveyor with a strong base in Civil, Structural, Architectural disciplines, to join our Program Management team across North America.

The role focuses on detailed cost estimation, risk analysis, and cost management for major capital projects in transit, healthcare, nuclear, and related sectors. Collaboration with large multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver complex projects successfully.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years in a Civil estimating role preferred.
• PQS or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and bill of materials.
• Prepare and review estimates of probable costs at design milestones.
• Assess merit and cost for changes and claims and support negotiations.
• Coordinate information from other estimating disciplines.
• Develop cost loading for project schedule.
