McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a Senior Cost Controls Specialist to enhance the costing discipline across projects. You will guide colleagues, solve complex issues, and improve cost forecasting, reporting, and change management.

The role offers oversight over cost trends and collaboration with multiple functions to drive cost readiness. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years in cost roles, with strong Excel skills and JD Edwards experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
• 7-10 years of experience in a similar cost role.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Experience with cost trend analysis, variance analysis and forecasting.
• Problem-solving with strong coordination and communication.
• Ability to relate project scope, schedule and cost to progress.
• Familiarity with cost interfaces, and JD Edwards knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Understand constructability concepts and interdependencies between Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction.
• Set up and maintain project controls reports and forecasting.
• Train junior personnel in cost reporting and management.
• Analyze committed costs vs. budget, and identify recovery plans.
• Lead change management and monitor progress measurement systems.
• Support invoicing, cash flows, and cost spread on projects.
• Collaborate with subcontract management and earned value tracking.
