Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to develop, analyze, and communicate expenses and cost transactions across complex projects in Toronto. You will drive cost data accuracy, forecast remaining costs, and support integrated cost reporting for multimodal programs.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a relevant degree, and professional certifications. You will mentor staff, collaborate with contracting authorities, and influence project decisions with cost intelligence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Licenses OR Certifications: Registered for and seeking AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, PRMP, EVP, or PMI equivalent.
• Has completed equivalent training or successfully passed designated proficiency testing in lieu of the above.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and communicate expenses and cost transactions, ensuring costs are recorded accurately and assigned to the correct control account and contracts.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, including breakdowns of project costs and forecasts of remaining cost.
• Support the development of Integrated Cost Reporting across the Project.
• Work across functions to align cost breakdown structure to work and risk breakdown structures.
• Lead cost analysts, supervise, delegate, and develop capacity.
