Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing or seafood.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with strong team spirit.
• Understanding of IT systems related to inventory and cost tracking.

Are you a detail-oriented Cost Accountant ready to make a real impact in a growing company? Join Western Ghats Solutions and Services as our next Senior Cost Accountant and play a key role in optimizing inventory costing and financial accuracy.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Cost Accountant will:

• Lead inventory cost evaluation at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and maintain precise supply inventory records.
• Work closely with production, shipping, and receiving teams to enhance cost tracking.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and contribute to ERP system development.
• Support financial reporting and cost analysis with a strong focus on inventory valuation.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in cost accounting (preferably in manufacturing or seafood industry).
• CPA, CMA, or CGA designation (or working toward CPA certification).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory modules.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-department collaboration skills.
• Experience in seafood processing or fish plant operations.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with strong team spirit.
• Understanding of IT systems related to inventory and cost tracking.
