Position Description

Currently, Tetranex is seeking a full-time Senior Controls Technologist/Engineer in the Lethbridge area.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, programming and commissioning of industrial control and HMI systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA/RTU).
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley industrial control systems is required.
  • Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS and Emerson DeltaV would be considered an asset.
  • Understanding and development of engineering deliverables: P&IDs, Shutdown Keys, Control System Architectures, Control Narratives, Panel Drawings, I/O Drawings, etc.
  • Software and hardware acceptance testing.
  • Client and vendor communication and interface.
  • Experience with loop testing, commissioning and start-up support would be considered an asset.
  • Mentoring of Junior resources.

Requirements:

  • 5 - 15 years of Automation/Controls related experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated.
  • Willingness/ability to travel and prepared to do site work as required.
  • Electrical and/or Instrumentation experience an asset.
