Job summary

Asamaka Industries Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to support a long-term project in Warren, Michigan, working at the cutting edge of EV battery manufacturing.

You will apply Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal), perform PLC programming, HMI development, and systems integration, with robotics, PID control, and real-time monitoring to deliver reliable automated solutions on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls, or related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with industrial controls and automation.
• Proven expertise in Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal) and PLC/HMI development.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to support a long-term project in Warren, Michigan, working at the cutting edge of EV battery manufacturing, helping build the systems shaping the future of electric mobility.

What We're Looking For

• Strong, hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal)
• Proven background in industrial controls — PLC programming, HMI development, systems integration
• Process control expertise: PID loops, industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus), real-time monitoring
• Robotics programming/integration/commissioning for material handling, assembly, or inspection
• Strong fault-finding, commissioning, and technical documentation skills
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or battery/energy environments — strongly preferred
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls, or related field
• Must be able to work on-site in Warren, Michigan, for the duration of the project
