Job summary

Terumo Medical Canada, Inc. seeks an experienced Manager, Contracts to lead contract strategy, governance and lifecycle management across TMCI business units. You will drive pricing, negotiations, renewals and compliance while partnering with Sales, Legal, Finance and Marketing.

The role also includes developing SOPs, improving reporting and mentoring a contracts team to ensure accurate execution and strong business outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in contracts management in medical device/healthcare.
Master’s degree is preferred for higher responsibilities.
Experience leading contracts management teams and major RFPs is required.

Responsibilities

Lead national and enterprise-level contract strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
Oversee negotiation for RFQs, RFPs, renewals, and pricing agreements; coordinate cross-functional inputs.
Develop and maintain contracting frameworks, governance models, and policy recommendations.
Partner with Legal to review language and assess risk for regulatory compliance.
Oversee rebates and admin fee programs; ensure accuracy and financial optimization.
Coordinate with sales and marketing to develop promotional pricing strategies.
Enhance operational systems, SOPs, and reporting to improve management information.
Manage and coach contracts team; drive cross-functional process improvements.
