Job summary

Terumo Medical Canada Inc. in Canada seeks a Manager, Contracts to lead the organization’s contract strategy, governance, and lifecycle management, driving revenue growth and profitability.

You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and others, guiding pricing strategies, RFPs, renewals and risk management while supervising a Contracts team. This role requires senior contract leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence strategic decisions with autonomy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in contracts management within the medical device/healthcare industry.
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing with at least 2 years of management experience, preferably managing a contracts management team.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with ERP packages, EDI and systems integration (SAP/JDE); Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead national and enterprise-level contract strategy across Terumo Medical Canada Inc. (TMCI) units; align with pricing governance.
• Oversee negotiation strategy for major RFQs, RFPs, renewals; coordinate cross-functional inputs for competitive positioning.
• Develop contracting frameworks, pricing governance models, and policy recommendations for consistent practices.
• Partner with Legal to review language, assess risk, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee rebate/admin fee programs; ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial optimization.
• Coordinate with sales/marketing to develop promotional pricing strategies and product initiatives.
