The Senior Contract Management Specialist in Global Site Contracting / Clinical Development Operations is responsible for ensuring the timely and appropriate execution of various agreements including Clinical Study Agreements, Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements, Master Clinical Study Agreements, Investigator Initiated Study Agreements, Facility Use Agreements, and associated budgets and service provider agreements linked to CSAs. This role collaborates with R&D business teams, Clinical Development Operations, Finance, Office of Ethics & Compliance, Legal, and external parties. Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, executing agreements, ensuring final contracts are delivered on time, within Fair Market Value, and compliant with legal and regulatory standards. The SSCM acts as a contract management expert within the organization, mentors colleagues, and drives process improvements.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure timely preparation and execution of CSAs, CDAs, budgets, and vendor agreements; act as the point person for assigned regions.
2. Negotiate agreements and budgets with investigator sites, liaising with legal for approval of changes.
3. Provide input for updating legal and budget templates and playbooks.
4. Track and maintain documentation of contracts and related information according to company standards.
5. Manage priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary.
6. Lead process improvement initiatives within the Contract Management function.
7. Demonstrate high competency in contract management, negotiation, and business standards.
8. Guide and mentor team members, manage workload, and ensure effective team operations.
9. Partner with Country Operations Managers to resolve issues and ensure efficient processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; healthcare, legal, business, or scientific discipline preferred.
• At least 5 years of clinical research and/or contract/budget experience, with knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards.
• Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and local language if applicable.
• Proactive team player capable of maintaining performance during change.
• Experience in management and financial analysis is advantageous.
