We are seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist in Global Site Contracting / Clinical Development Operations. This role involves ensuring the timely and appropriate execution of various clinical and site-related agreements, working closely with R&D, legal, finance, and external partners. The specialist will draft, negotiate, and execute agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and act as a mentor and example within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely preparation and execution of clinical study agreements, confidentiality disclosures, budgets, and vendor agreements. Serve as the point person for assigned regions.
  • Negotiate agreements and budgets with investigator sites, liaising with legal for approval of changes.
  • Update and maintain legal and budget templates and playbooks.
  • Track agreements and ensure proper documentation per company requirements.
  • Communicate and prioritize with stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.
  • Lead process improvement projects and represent the contract management function on broader teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, managing workload and developing team skills.
  • Collaborate with country operations managers to ensure effective contract management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; healthcare, legal, or scientific background preferred.
  • At least 5 years of clinical research or contract/budget experience, with knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local language if applicable.
  • Proactive team player capable of maintaining high performance in changing environments.
  • Experience in financial and budget management is desirable.
