Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Finance Controls, Risk, Audit, Governance, or Compliance.
  • University degree in a related field.
  • Strong risk and controls lifecycle experience, including remediation.
  • Experience with ESG/sustainability reporting controls, audit, or assurance.
  • Strong banking/financial services and financial reporting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex initiatives.

  • Prepare reporting and recommendations for senior leadership, CFO, and Board committees.
  • Provide SME guidance and training on controls, risk, and governance.

Duration: 6+ months with possible extension.

Location: Toronto, ON (4 days - Onsite)

Pay Range: $50 - $60/hr.

Job Summary

Must-Haves

  • Experience with ESG/Sustainability reporting controls, audit, or assurance.
  • Strong banking/financial services and financial reporting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex initiatives.
Nice-to-Haves
  • CPA or CIA.
  • Knowledge of TCFD, ISSB, SASB, GRI, CSRD.
  • ESG/Sustainability certification or experience.
  • Familiarity with Archer and Workiva ESG.

  • In-person interview with VP, CFO Controls Office – Same week / first week of September
