SAP Fioneer seeks a Senior Consultant - SAP (FDS) / Data Modelling to guide data management and reporting for banking transformation projects. You'll design and deploy data integration solutions and create models to support analytics and reporting needs.

You will collaborate with SAP Fioneer teams across Software Development and Sales, leveraging your banking domain experience and proficiency in ABAP/SQL/HANA or SAP BTP.

Qualifikationen

• University degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in IT transformation projects.
• Experience designing data management for banking.
• Understanding mapping, interfacing and modeling of FSI products.
• Experience configuring SAP FDS or SAP BW variants.
• Data modelling proficiency in ABAP dictionary, SQL, SAP HANA, or SAP BTP.
• Familiar with AI agents and Claude code.
• Strong communication and customer-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Job location

For this role you can work anywhere in Canada, with willingness to travel to meet the team on-site from time to time in Calgary or Toronto.

About the Role

• As a Senior Consultant - SAP (FDS) / Data Modelling you will bring deep expertise in data management and reporting to assist our clients in the Banking industry with their transformation projects. In this role, you'll work closely with clients to analyze their data management and reporting needs. Your tasks will include designing, building, and deploying functionality for data integration and data management. Additionally, you will create data models that facilitate the integration of analytical applications and support reporting needs.
• To provide the best solutions for these processes, you'll collaborate with various teams at SAP Fioneer, such as Software Development and Sales.

• A university degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Possess 3+ years of professional experience in IT transformation projects.
• Initial experience in designing data management processes for the banking sector.
• A solid understanding of the technical mapping, interfacing and modeling of FSI products.
• Basic experience in configuring one of the following SAP solutions: SAP FDS, SAP BW on HANA, or SAP BW/4HANA.
• Proficiency in data modeling with ABAP dictionary, SQL, SAP HANA, SAP BTP or another database is preferred.
• Exposed to AI agents and Claude code
• Exhibit positive, customer-focused interpersonal skills and attitude.
• Willingness to travel (50%).
• Proficiency in both English (written and oral)
