Job summary

KPMG in Canada is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead project workstreams, structure ambiguous problems and develop client-ready outputs for public sector clients. You will guide analyses, facilitate workshops and support implementation, while mentoring junior colleagues and building trusted client relationships.

Candidates bring 3–5 years in management consulting or related fields, strong communication skills and proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and related tools. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, public administration, public policy, economics or related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure issues and develop recommendations.
• Experience leading workstreams and delivering client-ready outputs with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead or manage client workstreams and deliverables with accountability for quality, timing and outcomes.
• Structure ambiguous problems and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Plan stakeholder interviews, workshops and working sessions and synthesize discussions into decisions and actions.
• Design future-state processes, operating models and implementation roadmaps for government clients.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and governance materials for executive audiences.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
