Job summary

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead Microsoft 365 security and governance engagements, delivering analysis, design, and implementation to improve customers’ security posture and compliance. The role focuses on Purview, Entra, Defender, and related cloud security solutions.

The candidate will drive presales work, architecture design, and coordination with customers, partners, and the internal team while mentoring peers and delivering complex deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Microsoft 365 and cloud security/governance delivery and design architecture experience.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Expert level knowledge of best practices around Microsoft security and governance solutions.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, conditional access, and identity governance.
• Relevant security certifications preferred (e.g., SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400).
• Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end projects in the Microsoft security and governance space.
• Provide technical leadership for security, identity, data protection, and compliance.
• Support pre-sales analysis, design, recommendations, and implementation.
• Design and implement information protection, data lifecycle, records management, and retention strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, services support groups, partners, and customers for a smooth project experience.
• Mentor other subject matter experts covering Microsoft security and governance.
• Participate in advanced staging, complex configuration, and secure deployment of security workloads.
• Ensure vendor compliancy strategies are met and manage travel as needed.

Provide consulting, analysis, design, and/or implementation support for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender, and other cloud security and compliance solutions.
