Job Details

The Senior Construction Superintendent will manage all site aspects, from logistics planning to building commissioning and turnover. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with extensive experience in high-rise residential concrete projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site safety officer to maintain safety documentation, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage the full project cycle, including site mobilization and building turnover.
• Assist with site logistics planning, including layout, crane placement, and temporary services.
• Review subcontractor scopes, quotes, and contracts for accuracy.
• Support project schedule development, identifying critical paths and sequencing activities.
• Implement quality assurance and control procedures throughout construction.
• Lead weekly trade meetings to organize and coordinate site activities.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and city officials to ensure code and regulation compliance.
• Oversee the building turnover process, including commissioning and deficiency resolution.

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 10 years of on-site experience as a Construction Superintendent in high-rise concrete projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to build collaborative teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, specifications, and drawings.
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in Office and construction management software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions

• Travel to various site locations required.
• Work both indoors and outdoors.
• Exposure to construction site environments; safety training provided if needed.
