Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Vancouver seeks a Project Director with a track record leading complex construction programs. You will manage preconstruction through closeout, develop master schedules, oversee budgets, and drive safety, QA/QC, and project delivery excellence across multiple projects.

You will build long-term client relationships, pursue new work, mentor teams, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to win opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum of 15 years’ related experience or an equivalent
• Ability to represent the company professionally with clients and stakeholders
• Solid experience in all contract models; collaboration in contracts desired
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and engineering
• Strong business development and market knowledge; regional sales skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel regularly

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all phases of one or more projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and manage master project schedules and budgets
• Drive safety, QA/QC, and compliance across projects
• Develop client relationships and pursue new work opportunities
• Mentor and develop project teams and facilitate performance reviews
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to secure new work
• Oversee risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions
• Utilize BIM and Lean to optimize project delivery
• Ensure ethical practices and corporate governance on projects
