Job summary

SmartCentres IP Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee retail construction projects across Western Canada.

You will manage budgets, schedules, quality and customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies, reporting to the Senior Director – Construction for Western Canada. The role requires ten years in construction, strong contract knowledge (CCDC2/14), proficiency with Procore and ACC360, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams including tenants, consultants and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Canadian construction experience.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings & specs.
• Strong contractual knowledge (CCDC2/CCDC14).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Procore and/or ACC360 platforms is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage retail construction projects within Western Canada portfolio.
• Develop project budgets and monitor costs.
• Coordinate bids and issue contracts.
• Ensure schedule, safety, quality, and customer service.
• Lead project team including tenants, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare progress draws and invoices; coordinate payments.
• Mentor junior project managers.
