A Day in the Life of a Construction Manager at co-elevate
- Attend a stand-up meeting with your scrum team to discuss yesterday’s challenges and plan for the day’s tasks.
- Provide meaningful oversight and mentorship of less experienced staff by providing guidance and reviews.
- A daily break for a game of Table Tennis or Golf Simulator is always welcomed.
- Attend one of co-elevate's group events such as potlucks, lunch & learns, book club, etc.
- Participate in one of co-elevate's charity causes such as blood drives, toy drives, food drives, or seasonal in-house charity events.
- Conduct drawing reviews to ensure conformance to designs.

What We Are Looking for in a Construction Manager
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Construction Manager to support our engineering team by managing project documentation, coordinating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth execution of construction processes. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency, quality, and compliance throughout the lifecycle of our projects.
- Experience: 5+ years in construction administration, engineering support, or a related role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with interpreting structural drawings and building knowledge. Familiarity with building construction terminology, contracts, and engineering documentation.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or other construction management software).

You will be responsible for:
- Completing and coordinating work associated with shop drawing reviews.
- Providing and coordinating necessary inspections and field review reports.
- Coordinating documentation during construction including contemplated changes, site instructions, or responses to requests for information.
- Coordinating issues of concern with the stamping Engineer.
- Managing construction documents, including IFC drawings, and fulfilling Prime Consultant responsibilities.
- Developing and standardizing co-elevate’s Construction Management program, including training and best practices.
