Qualifications

• 5+ years of property claims adjusting experience.
• CIP designation required.
• New Brunswick Adjuster’s License required.
• Strong understanding of policy wording, liability, and subrogation.
• Experience with litigated files and appraisal processes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex property claims.
• Conduct detailed coverage analysis and determine liability and indemnity decisions.
• Manage litigated claims and coordinate with lawyers, engineers, and experts.
• Review estimates, scopes, and reports to ensure fair settlements.
• Handle specialized losses (environmental, oil spills, mould, asbestos).
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities and recoveries.
• Mentor and support colleagues through complex file reviews.
