Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior Commissioning / Test Engineer to lead Onsite OCS commissioning, testing and troubleshooting for the Hurontario LRT project in Mississauga. You will prepare test plans and criteria, diagnose faults, and support energization and final acceptance on site with subcontractors and internal teams.

The role requires 7+ years of field experience on rail electrification projects, strong planning and coordination skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced site

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field experience in OCS or catenary commissioning, testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience on rail, LRT or other railway electrification projects.
• Strong planning and coordination skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and working with multiple project stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of North American and international OCS and electrification standards.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical background.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, site-based commissioning environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Produce test records, snag lists, commissioning reports and record drawings.
• Follow all Health, Safety and Environment requirements in a site and construction environment.

Amaris Consulting is looking for a Senior Commissioning / Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Overhead Contact System (OCS) commissioning, testing and troubleshooting.

You’ll support the testing and energization phase of the Hurontario LRT project, working on site with subcontractors, internal teams and project stakeholders.

• Contract: 12 months
• Required experience: 7+ years

Expected Compensation Range:

70K-120K. The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements.

Canadian Experience Requirement:

No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
