Rising Edge Group is seeking a Senior Commissioning Technologist to lead commissioning, testing, and maintenance of high‑voltage power equipment in the field across North America. The role involves mentoring junior technologists, interpreting prints, and promoting best practices on site.
Responsibilities include setting up test equipment, conducting acceptance testing, and ensuring safety standards during installations from 600V to 500kV. Travel and out‑of‑town assignments are required.

Reporting to theCommissioning Manager, the SeniorCommissioning Technologist is responsible for commissioning, testing and maintaining primary and secondary power equipment in the field. This includesmaintainingmedium-to-high-voltage substation power delivery equipment such as breakers, switchgears, circuit breakers,relaysand transformers. The Senior Commissioning Technologist role also involves mentoring and educatingjunior technologistsincluding reading and interpreting prints, riskmanagementstrategies and promoting industry best practices. The SeniorCommissioning Technologist also plays a leading role in setting up and operating both standard and specialized test equipment to diagnose and analyze the performance of power delivery equipment on-sit.
