Millennium Insurance in Sherwood Park, AB is seeking a Senior Commercial Property & Casualty Underwriter to grow a complex portfolio. You will price and structure property and casualty risks, collaborate with brokers, and guide junior staff, while expanding relationships across Canada.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years underwriting experience, strong technical knowledge, and a willingness to obtain an Alberta license if needed. This is a locally owned insurer with strong growth and client focus.

Qualifications

• This role requires 4+ years of commercial property & casualty underwriting experience across Canada.
• Experience underwriting large realty portfolios, builders' risk, manufacturing, and hospitality risks is an asset.
• LICENSING: Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical underwriting expertise to price and structure complex P&C risks across portfolios.
• Maintain strong broker relationships and deliver competitive, well-priced policies.
• Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and other teams to optimize portfolio performance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff to foster high performance.
• Prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment and support growth initiatives.
