Job summary

Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) in Toronto is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the implementation of MSC's commercial strategy in Canada and to help deliver the organization’s overall goals.

The role focuses on expanding MSC-certified and labelled seafood availability by building relationships with retailers and seafood businesses, driving sustainability and certification, and guiding Canada’s commercial strategy from the Toronto office on a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Sustainability or Resource Management.
• Extensive experience leading, developing and delivering integrated commercial strategies.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead Canada’s commercial strategy to increase MSC-certified and labelled products.
• Promote MSC certification and establish connections with retailers and seafood businesses.
• Drive participation in the MSC program and promote sustainability goals.
• Represent MSC Canada in external collaborations and market outreach.
