Takeda Canada is seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner to drive senior-level financial stewardship within a complex commercial environment. You will connect detailed financial analysis to business performance, risk, and strategic prioritization across a broader scope in Toronto, Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline; advanced qualification desirable.
• Typically 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering, or related roles.
• Strong experience in planning, business case development, performance reviews, and investment analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with commercial or market-facing teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex workstreams or cross-functional initiatives with autonomy preferred.
• Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and modelling capability required.
• Experience with enterprise planning tools, Power BI or equivalent reporting platforms; willingness to upskill in AI.

Responsabilités

• Act as a senior finance partner to commercial leaders, providing proactive challenge and support on performance and forecast.
• Support and influence integrity of financials through robust analysis and independent judgment.
• Analyze revenue, pricing, gross-to-net, discounting, rebate assumptions, costs, and other drivers.
• Lead planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling for the business unit.
• Coordinate complex business case development and investment analysis.
