Job summary

A leading cloud infrastructure company is seeking an experienced engineer to architect a scalable distributed infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop a robust cloud platform. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years in software development, experience with cloud technologies, and skills in scalable system design. Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
• Experience developing cloud native edge services, preferably with envoy and Istio.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices including encryption and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure.
• Build a cloud-native platform and automate cloud resource management.
• Work with core database and security teams to improve service offerings.

Skills

Software development experience in Go, C/C++, Java or other OOP language

Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or GCP

Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes

Understanding of network topologies and security principles

Excellent communication skills

Problem-solving skills and production debugging expertise
