Utilizing world-class technology, TNG delivers solutions to the entire mortgage life cycle through its affiliated organizations. TNG benefits from a broad product suite, infrastructure, and industry expertise and has transformed the home purchase, sale, mortgage, and refinance process for consumers, lenders, realtors, and mortgage brokers.

Position Details

The Cloud Engineer role will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure to support TNG’s digital operations. Blending cloud engineering with DevOps practices, this role plays a critical part in driving cloud strategy, automating infrastructure and deployments, administering Linux servers and web services, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the reliable, secure delivery of cloud-based services.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement AWS-based infrastructure solutions to support fintech applications with high availability and low latency.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
  • Automate the deployment process with Github Actions to ensure rapid, reliable, and repeatable releases.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and third‑party tools like Datadog or New Relic.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices using IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, and AWS Config.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS) through infrastructure design and documentation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support application deployment and incident response.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS), including applying security patches and updates, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Set up, maintain, and optimize web servers and reverse proxies (e.g., Nginx, Apache) for secure, high-performance application deployment.
  • Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing, and develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Manage containerized workloads using ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
  • Lead the cloud and DevOps function, providing technical direction, setting standards and best practices, mentoring engineers, and managing team priorities, professional development, and delivery.
