Job summary

Atlas Search in Canada is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to lead site management and monitoring across studies, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget alignment. You will mentor the Clinical Operations team, oversee CTMS/TMF, train study teams, activate sites, and coordinate with sponsors and vendors to deliver on milestones.

The role requires 8-10+ years of clinical research experience and a life sciences degree, supporting successful study delivery across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a life science or related field.
• 8-10+ years of clinical research trial and/or monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight for assigned clinical studies across all phases of study management.
• Support site identification, initiation, and engagement with focus on patient recruitment and retention.
• Serve as primary point of contact for sponsors, sites, vendors, and internal stakeholders on site management and monitoring activities.
• Provide oversight and quality control review for setup and maintenance of studies within CTMS and TMF.
• Plan and conduct initial and ongoing training for study teams on project-specific requirements and processes.
• Drive site activation in accordance with timelines, quality standards, scope and budget.
• Act as initial point of contact for clinical management and monitoring issues, coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the preparation, conduct, review, and timely completion of monitoring visit reports and site issue resolution.
• Conduct monitoring visits as needed to support study execution and site performance.
• Provide ongoing leadership, mentoring, and technical support to Clinical Operations team members.
