Job summary

WTW is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Client Service team in Montreal, coordinating investment consulting for institutional clients including defined benefit, defined contribution, endowment and foundations. The role emphasizes risk and objective setting, asset allocation, manager selection, and ongoing policy and performance evaluation.

The candidate will mentor junior staff, develop client relationships, and contribute to Canadian investment business growth, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; CFA, FSA, MSc and MBA are preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive investment experience in client-service oriented environments.
• Exceptional client focus with a track record of managing client relationships.
• Strong project management skills and experience.
• Understanding of investment management organizations and their role in client solutions.
• Excellent oral and written French and English communication skills.
• Team player able to operate in a professional services environment and communicate at appropriate levels.
• Willingness to mentor junior colleagues to develop talent pool.
• Moderate travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment consulting engagements for advisory and delegated/OCIO clients, ensuring quality and timely delivery of advice.
• Provide services to investment and pension committees.
• Lead cross-functional client teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.
• Support execution of large-scale engagements and client initiatives.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships and superior relationship management.
• Deliver work in line with Professional Excellence standards and project plans.
• Optimize resources to complete deliverables efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal lines of business to address client needs and objectives.
• Mentor junior colleagues to grow skills and capabilities.
• Manage project scope and financials for client services.
