Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking a Senior Civil – Wet Utilities Engineer in Vancouver, BC to lead civil and wet utilities components on major municipal and transportation projects, from concept through detailed design and construction.

You will manage scope, mentor teams, support proposals and business growth within large infrastructure programs, focusing on water, drainage, and sanitary systems and coordinating with dry utilities and transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in municipal civil engineering or related fields.
• Experience leading teams and managing projects.
• Experience with transportation infrastructure design and delivery.
• Fluent English; French is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support Major Projects in Canada under the Project Manager.
• Oversee team performance to meet goals and deadlines.
• Lead civil / utilities components from inception to completion (water main relocation, storm and sanitary design, and related activities).
• Mentor staff and resolve conflicts to maintain efficiency.
• Prepare technical designs, specifications, reports and proposals.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new business opportunities in municipal infrastructure.
• Lead RFQ and RFP proposals, delivering client-focused solutions.
• Manage project budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Oversee schedules to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with goals.
• Develop strategies to expand market presence and revenue growth.
