Senior Civil Project Manager

Key Information :

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of civil construction experience.
• Over 3 years of estimating or related experience.
• Work hours: 44-hour week, with overtime during busy seasons.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Hourly rate depends on experience.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Plan and chair construction meetings and coordinate schedules.
2. Organize construction activities effectively.
3. Oversee the overall construction program.
4. Lead to maximize productivity.
5. Manage field costs, forecast project completion costs, and implement cost control measures.
6. Develop and enforce site safety programs.
7. Recommend and negotiate construction contracts, and administer them to ensure performance.
8. Ensure effective information flow within the project team and to stakeholders.
9. Coordinate with municipal authorities for permits and public relations.
10. Plan and oversee the turnover of completed facilities to operations.
11. Manage liaison between design engineering and field activities.
12. Implement site procedures and controls.
13. Review and approve contractor invoices based on project progress.

Experience and Certification Requirements :

1. Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of civil construction experience.
3. Strong background in civil projects is preferred.
4. Proficiency in software such as Primavera Contract, Microsoft Projects, Excel, and proprietary tools.
5. Ability to mentor team members.
6. Strong contract negotiation skills.
7. Cost control experience is advantageous.
8. Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
9. Valid driver's license, clean abstract, and reliable transportation.
10. Proficient in English.
