Job summary

Albarrie Canada Limited in Barrie, ON, seeks a Project Engineer (Civil) to lead civil design and site engineering under the Director of Engineering. You will oversee civil/AGC design, coordinate teams, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, PEng in Ontario, and up to 25% travel to NA field sites. Proficiency with AutoCAD and project tools is essential. On-site at 85 Morrow Road, Barrie.

Qualifications

• Completion of degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant Civil Engineering experience.
• Professional Engineers Ontario registration and good standing.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, project management tools and CAD software.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within Canada and internationally.
• Valid passport; U.S. visa eligibility preferred.
• Ontario Driver's License.
• Blueprint reading and AutoCAD experience considered assets.
• Drug and alcohol testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for civil and AGC design activities.
• Mentor Civil Technologists and project staff in design methods.
• Prepare, review, and deliver drawings, calculations, and design reports.
• Lead project governance, documentation, and KPI tracking.
• Coordinate with clients, operations, sales and field personnel for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
