Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support our growing team in Prince George, BC, with collaborative opportunities across Prince George, Kelowna, and Kamloops. The role can be based in multiple northern and central BC offices.

You will lead complex civil design tasks, manage projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to client development while ensuring safety and quality across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and eligible for P.Eng. in BC.
• 10+ years of experience; 8+ years may be considered for strong candidates.
• Office-based role with some field work in Northern and Central BC.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering design tasks on civil projects as Project Lead or SME.
• Support permitting processes with clients, contractors, and agencies.
• Review and seal projects or components as appropriate.
• Manage design and construction and provide input to projects.
• Assist business development with proposals and client accounts.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians; coordinate resources.
