SENIOR CISCO DEVOPS CONSULTANT

Our Calgary based client is seeking a Senior Cisco DevOps Consultant to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD infrastructure using Automation Tools (i.e. Ansible) for Data Center Network Automation with Cisco Data Center SDN technologies (ACI, Nexus Dashboard).
• Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and resources, to ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of issues.
• Work with Network and Lab engineers to deploy Data Center network configurations in an automated fashion.
• Fix and resolve automation related issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Document processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference and training.

SKILLS:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies, particularly Ansible
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Experience with Python
• Knowledge of Linux (CentOS/RHEL, Ubuntu)
• Familiarity with DevOps principles, software engineering, read and understand the code
• Cisco DevNet Associate certification (nice to have)
• Experience with Data Center network management

Start ASAP - contract runs to the end of 2025

Rate: $95-$105/hour for an Incorporated consultant

Ideally in office (Calgary) but would consider remote working MST hours
