Job summary

mgm ship management pte. ltd. is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the operation of ship and engine room machineries and electrical systems aboard our vessel in Canada.

You will conduct routine and non-routine maintenance of engine room areas, manage oily water separator operations, and ensure compliance with risk controls and safety muster procedures.

Candidates must hold CoC Class III Management level, have 2–4 years onboard as Chief Engineer, and full STCW certification.

Qualifications

• CoC Class III Management level is required.
• 2-4 years onboard as Chief Engineer.
• Full STCW certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of ship machinery and electrical systems.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance in engine room, steering gear room, emergency generator room, and battery room.
• Promptly attend to all machineries and alarm system defects and deficiencies.
• In charge of oily water separator operation and maintenance.
