The Role :

As a result of our robust growth, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team of accounting professionals. This role will be based in our Saint John, NB, or Blacks Harbour, NB office. Reporting to the Divisional Controller, you will bring your experience in the preparation of financial statements for month-end and year-end, working papers, and month-end journal entries. You will support all aspects of general accounting following best principles and practices and demonstrate initiative on special projects as requested by management.

To be successful in this role :

• At least 5 years of experience in full cycle accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or enrollment in the program is an asset
• Strong organizational and detail management skills
• Experience in manufacturing, food processing, fisheries, or aquaculture is an asset
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is an asset
