Qualifications

• Graduate-level engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Chemical, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics and applied mathematical foundations.

Responsibilities

• Run commercial CFD simulations to analyze transient gas flow, kinetics, and heat transfer.
• Manage computational resources on local hardware and cloud (AWS/GCP).
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to create CAD models for meshing (Solidworks) and extract fluid volumes.
• Set boundary conditions and domain models for CFD studies.
• Guide solvers through computational processes and troubleshoot crashes.
• Translate CFD results into clear visuals and summaries for stakeholders.
• Explain CFD principles and justify model choices to the team.
• Develop test plans to validate CFD and system simulations with test data.
