Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner in Canada, seeks a Senior Caseworker focused on software quality assurance across healthcare applications. This role involves hands-on testing, planning, documentation, and collaboration with IT teams and third‑party providers to ensure compliance, quality, and user satisfaction throughout the testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities include functional, integration, regression, and readiness testing, with participation in UAT and automated testing initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing or QA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or healthcare field.
• Experience testing healthcare, pharmaceutical, or ERP applications; pharmacovigilance is an asset.
• Experience with integration testing or API testing and enterprise automated testing tools.
• Hands-on experience with validated systems in a regulated industry.
• Familiarity with HP Quality Center, Jira, or Zephyr is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Determine QA oversight level across IT systems and applications.
• Develop, maintain, and execute complex test plans, scenarios, and scripts across the full testing lifecycle.
• Review unit testing documentation to ensure tested code before QA and UAT.
• Create test plans and test summary reports with risk-aligned data.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and readiness testing.
• Execute test scenarios, document defects, and support resolution.
• Notify change management when tested code is approved for production.
• Support security, environment, performance, and automated testing activities.
• Maintain documentation for testing processes and third-party oversight.
