Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking an Associate Director of Care at Muskoka Shores Community in Gravenhurst to lead the Long Term Care team and oversee clinical operations with a focus on resident safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires nursing leadership, registration with the College of Nurses, and infection control credentials, with experience in a managerial capacity within a healthcare setting. Ontario regulatory standards apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing Science or equivalent post-diploma education.
• Current registration in good standing with College of Nurses.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in infection control; IPC certification (a-IPC) and/or CIC.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in Long Term Care; 2–3 years managerial experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations and lead clinical staff to ensure safe, effective, person-centred care.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in care planning meetings, case conferences and family discussions.
