Job summary

JLL in Bromont, QC seeks a Senior Draftsperson to lead CAD design and coordination for complex real estate development projects. You will generate floor plans, model components, and prepare submission drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, coordinating with engineers, architects, and MEP teams.

You bring a diploma in Drafting and 6–8 years of large‑scale project experience, plus IBM TRIRIGA experience and solid knowledge of NBC codes and LEED practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma in drafting or related building/architecture field.
• Six to eight years of proven experience in designing and managing large-scale development projects.
• Strong proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard drafting software.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software and enterprise systems to generate planning drawings, map facility floor plans, and model project components for industrial manufacturing and offices while developing comprehensive engineering drawings and working designs
• Prepare submission drawings and coordinate approvals with client’s engineers
• Coordinate with liaising teams, design consultants, architects, MEP engineers, structural engineers, and marketing departments to ensure technical accuracy and project alignment
• Manage design documentation and facility floor plans throughout project lifecycle, from concept through to construction execution
• Review and validate engineering drawings for compliance with statutory requirements, building regulations, and JLL quality standards
