Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Mass Transit, Rail Systems & Telecom practice. You will design cable routing plans in BIM, review specifications, and participate in cross-disciplinary meetings on complex transportation projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, licensure with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, 10–15 years of design experience, and bilingualism (French/English).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and licensure with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec are required.
10–15 years of design experience in electrical engineering, preferably in railway environments.
Bilingual (French/English) is required to interact with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review cable routing plans and specifications in a BIM environment.
Carry out complete design work based on preliminary concepts and calculations.
Participate in project meetings and manage consulting mandates within your discipline.
Ensure follow-up on work progress and schedules through to commissioning.
